Territory and Sustainable Management

Given the current situation of deterioration of the indigenous territories, we propose that from the school and the initial teacher training in EIB reflect and become aware of this situation to develop proposals that prevent the further degradation of the forest, helping to recover and proposing alternatives productive and relevant and sustainable use that generate well-being for the population. In short, it is about motivating children, residents and society an attitude of responsible and respectful management of their territories.

For us, this work should be given in a complementary way to the development and strengthening of representative organizations, at their various levels, so that they act in the different spaces and instances of the State and civil society, in order for the authorities to respect rights of indigenous peoples.
